What other Adaptive vision users achieved
Adaptive vision has a lot of success stories. These stories might inspire you and show what the adaptive vision software is capable of.
Airport trays verification
The
deep learning add-on for Adaptive Vision enables you to train an object detection algorithm. For example, the Vienna University created a algorithm in Adaptive vision to classify objects left behind in a tray at airport security. They have trained their algorithm with 150 images divided into 3 classes. The tray could be empty, there could be an object left behind in a tray or lastly, a tray could require cleaning if someone spilled liquid in this tray.
The vision algorithm even indicates how strong specific parts of the image determined the classification by a heatmap.

Diameter inspection
Engineers have created an application that can inspect roundness and dimensions of the inner diameter of tempered steel rings. With Adaptive Vision they have made it possible to inspect these objects with a tolerance up to +/- 0.1mm.

PCB positioning
With adaptive vision studio, it was made possible to check the positioning of PCB boards. Using a 5MP monochrome camera, the application was able to achieve up to 0,05mm measuring accuracy. With adaptive vision it was possible to use flexible macrofilters and quickly export the DLL files in case you want to intergrate it in your own control software.
